Send a song to anyone, whatever they listen on. A Spotify link is dead weight to someone on Apple Music, and the other way round. Playdate fixes that with one link. Paste or share a song, album, artist or playlist, and Playdate finds the same music on the other service and hands you a single Playdate link. Whoever you send it to taps once and it opens in the app they actually use. HOW IT WORKS 1. Share from Spotify or Apple Music straight into Playdate, or paste a link. 2. Watch the record spin while Playdate finds the match, then copy your Playdate link. 3. Send it anywhere: iMessage, WhatsApp, Slack, Discord, a group chat, a caption. Your friend doesn't need Playdate. The link opens right on their iPhone with no install, shows them the song, and takes them to Spotify or Apple Music, whichever they use. HONEST ABOUT THE MATCH Playdate tells you what it found before you send. Exact match, same recording. Same song, a different version. Or not on the other service at all, with a search to fall back on. No silent substitutions. PLAYLISTS TOO Share a whole playlist and Playdate tells you how many songs made it across, exact and near matches counted separately. Connect your account and add the playlist straight into your own Spotify or Apple Music library. BUILT INTO THE SHARE SHEET Share, tap Playdate, copy the link. Three taps from any song in Spotify or Apple Music, without leaving the app you're in. YOUR SIDE OF THE LINK Tell Playdate which service you use, and every Playdate link someone sends you opens there. Your sent links stay on the Home screen, so you can copy one again or clear the list whenever you like. FREE, WITH NOTHING TO SIGN UP FOR No account to create, no ads, no subscription. Apple Music connects through the account already on your iPhone. Connecting an account is only needed when you want to add a playlist to your own library. WORKS WITH Spotify and Apple Music. Songs, albums, artists and playlists. Links made with Playdate keep working after you send them, so the songs you share today still open tomorrow.

Verdict
The clearest difference is price: Playdate at Free against Marvis Pro's $9.99. Playdate also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). Marvis Pro's advantage is review sentiment (85% vs 50%) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 9 months). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.
