About

Gridblitz

Gridblitz is a block puzzle on an 8x8 board: fit the pieces, clear lines and push for a higher score every round. Drag a piece from the tray onto the board. Fill a whole row or column and it clears. Clear lines on back-to-back moves to build a streak, and every clear in the streak scores more. When none of your pieces fit, the round ends. TWO WAYS TO PLAY • Original: no timer. Take your time and plan each move. • Blitz: 10 seconds per piece. Place it before the clock runs out. • Close the app mid-round and you come right back to the same round. LEADERBOARDS • Original and Blitz each have an all-time board and a weekly board that starts fresh every Monday. • You join with your first finished round. No login and no email. Pick your own player name; names and scores are public. • Your profile shows your player name, your leaderboard places and your records in one place. • Rather not be on the boards? Turn them off in Settings > Privacy. That deletes your leaderboard account and its scores; your progress stays on your phone. SKINS AND THE CUSTOMIZER • Dress your blocks and your board in different skins. One tap wears a skin. • Unlock skins by reaching play goals or by watching optional video ads. • With Pro, the Customizer lets you make your own colours with a few simple sliders. PLAY IT YOUR WAY • Sound, haptics, effects and assists are all adjustable, with a switch for each sound. • Colour marks put a small symbol on each block colour, and the game follows your iPhone's Reduce Motion setting. • Game sounds mix with your own music. • The game plays offline. Ads, purchases and leaderboards need a connection. FREE TO PLAY, OR GO PRO • Free play has a banner on Home and an occasional full-screen ad between finished rounds. Ads never interrupt a round in progress. • An optional video ad gives you one revive per round. • Gridblitz Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription: no ads, every skin including the Customizer, and one revive per round without a video. Restore it any time from the Pro panel.
