In an era where small shops still rely on handwritten notebooks or Excel spreadsheets to manage customer credit, Scrivilo offers a modern solution that bridges tradition with innovation. The platform transforms this age-old practice into a seamless digital experience for both merchants and their valued customers, creating transparency while preserving the personal relationships at the heart of neighborhood commerce. The process begins when customers register through our secure platform, providing essential details including their full name, date and place of birth, tax identification number, complete address, and contact information. To ensure security and prevent fraud, we require users to upload an official identification document through their device’s camera or gallery. Our verification team then carefully cross-checks this information against the provided documents. Once approved, each customer receives a unique QR code that serves as their digital credit key at participating local businesses. When shopping at partner stores, customers present their Scrivilo QR code at checkout. The merchant scans this code through our app, instantly recording the transaction amount in both the customer’s digital account and the shop’s records. This eliminates the need for paper tracking while giving both parties real-time access to their credit history. All purchases made between the first and last day of each month are conveniently grouped, with payment due by the 15th of the following month—a system designed to align with traditional Italian business cycles while introducing modern convenience. To support responsible credit management, our automated system sends timely payment reminders as the due date approaches. Should a payment remain outstanding after the 15th, the customer enters a grace period until month-end, during which their account status reflects the pending balance. If payment still hasn't been received after thirty days, the account becomes temporarily suspended, and the customer receives formal notification about potential reporting to CRIF—Italy’s leading credit bureau. This graduated approach maintains fairness while encouraging timely payments. For shop owners, Scrivilo replaces error-prone manual methods with a reliable digital alternative that automatically tracks every transaction. Merchants maintain full control, with the ability to review customer purchase history or decline service at their discretion. The platform provides a clear overview of all outstanding balances, eliminating the guesswork from credit management while preserving the personal relationships that define local commerce. At its core, Scrivilo represents more than just technology—it’s about modernizing a centuries-old practice of trust between neighborhood shops and their customers. By digitizing these interactions, we bring organization to informal credit systems while maintaining their human element. Shop owners gain peace of mind with automated tracking and reminders, while customers enjoy the convenience of digital records without losing the personal connection with their local merchants. In preserving these relationships while introducing efficiency, Scrivilo helps sustain the vibrant ecosystem of small businesses that form the backbone of Italian communities.
