Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Tiny Calendar at 4.0 against TTWidget's 1.0. Tiny Calendar also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.
