Earthquake Network is the most comprehensive app on earthquakes and for most world countries it is the only earthquake early warning system for receiving real time alerts. Earthquake Network gives you: - Real time alerts if you live close to the epicentre - Alerts seconds in advances if you live far from the epicentre - Real time user reports on felt earthquakes - Free earthquake data from 21 seismic networks including U.S., Puerto Rico, India, Indonesia, Turkey, Mexico, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Argentina, Venezuela, Dominican Republic, Colombia, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, China, New Zeland, Japan, Italy, Croatia, Spain and Greece The Earthquake Network research project (https://www.sismo.app) aims at developing a smartphone-based earthquake early warning system able to detect earthquakes in real time and to alert the population in advance. Smartphones are able to detect earthquakes thanks to the accelerometer on-board each device. When an earthquake is detected, users with the application installed are immediatly alerted. Since earthquake waves travel at around 5 km/s it is possible to alert the population not yet reached by the damaging waves of the earthquake. For the scientific details about the project please refer to the scientific paper on Frontiers at https://bit.ly/2C8B5HI Subscriptions: When an earthquake is detected in real time by smartphones near the epicenter, the server sends an alert to all users with the app. Alerting all users can take up to 10 seconds since it is not technically feasible to do so instantly. Now you can join the priority lists of the first 10,000 or 100,000 people alerted in real time. Know the moment the ground moves. Earthquake Network - Panic merges live earthquake data from six official seismic networks - USGS, EMSC, AFAD, Kandilli, INGV, and GeoNet - into one fast, clear feed, then tells you what each event means for the places you care about. Earthquakes cannot be predicted. What matters is how quickly and clearly you learn about them. That is the whole job of this app. LIVE MULTI-SOURCE FEED Real-time earthquakes from six official networks, merged and deduplicated with full source attribution. Search by region, filter by magnitude and time period, and see significant events separated from the background noise. If one network is down, the others keep reporting. WORLDWIDE MAP Explore every event on an interactive map. Tap any earthquake for magnitude, depth, distance from you, and estimated shaking intensity - clearly labeled estimates derived from official data, never predictions. CUSTOM ALERT RULES Choose the minimum magnitude and distance you care about and let automatic background checks watch the feeds for you. A magnitude 6 on the other side of the world and a magnitude 4 near your home are not the same event - your rules decide what is worth a notification. A built-in test alert shows you exactly what delivery looks like, and Notification Health in Settings shows whether alerts are actually working. WATCHED PLACES Save the places that matter - home, a parent's city, a child's school - and see a dedicated impact card for each one after every significant event: distance, expected shaking, and how the event was revised over time. STATISTICS AND TRENDS Charts of recent activity by magnitude, depth, and region, so you can tell an unusual week from an ordinary one. SAFETY GUIDE Clear, practical guidance for before, during, and after an earthquake - available offline whenever you need it. EARTHQUAKE GUARDIAN (optional subscription) Guardian extends monitoring to your whole household: - Watch up to 10 named places instead of 1 - Long-term Historical Explorer with place-specific trends - Family Sharing included at no extra cost Guardian is offered as an annual plan with a 7-day free trial for eligible users, or a monthly plan. Exact prices are always shown in the app before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings. The free tier stays genuinely useful - live feed, map, alerts, one watched place, and the safety guide are free forever, with the same reliability as Guardian.
