Storitev BetrSign zagotavlja podjetje SETCCE s seznama zaupanja vrednih ponudnikov storitev zaupanja v skladu z Regulativo eIDAS, certificirano z najvišjimi standardi ISO iz področja upravljanja informacijske tehnologije in informacijske varnosti. Za prijavo in elektronski podpis dokumentov v storitev BetrSign lahko uporabite mobilno aplikacijo storitve BetrSign in vašo slovensko osebno izkaznico, če je izdana po marcu 2022. Vaša osebna izkaznica (e-osebna) je opremljena s posebnim čipom, ki ga vaš pametni telefon prebere s pomočjo bralnika NFC. Mobilna aplikacija BetrSign omogoča varno prijavo v storitev BetrSign tako, da telefonu približate osebno izkaznico, vpišete geslo za osebno izkaznico in sledite navodilom.
