Privacy is at the heart of Paprylo. Private notes live in a dedicated mode that you unlock with Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode, so personal thoughts never mix with casual notes. If you ever need an extra layer of safety, you can create an encrypted backup file and store it wherever you trust - on your device, in Files, or offline. Paprylo stores all of your written notes locally on your device and does not send them to any servers. There are no accounts, no analytics dashboards, and no hidden sync - your notes stay under your control. Optional voice dictation uses the built‑in iOS speech recognition service, which may send your audio to Apple for transcription if you explicitly allow it in the system prompt. For the best listening experience, we recommend enabling an enhanced system voice in iOS by going to Settings → Accessibility → Spoken Content → Voices and choosing an Enhanced voice for your preferred language.
