Posmo Segments vs TASYL App

With POSMO Segments you can track all your movements. In this first release, you’ll be able to record single-mode segments like walking, running, driving a bike or car, using public transport as well as electric kick scooters or a skateboard. If you save your segments to posmo.datamap.io, you can see how quickly you move around, when and where you have to stop etc. You can also download your data from posmo.datamap.io and analyze it yourself. As segments are recorded at 50Hz, we recommend to record no more than 90 minutes per single segment. In our next release, we’ll use less data, so that you can record longer segments and journeys, e.g. a multi-segment track from home to work.

TASYL App is a platform for one of the fastest growing network of devices and things. You can keep a track of your items fitted with TASYL devices using the TASYL App. The app helps you quickly figure out where your Tasyl devices are and where you left them the last time you had them with you. Leave the looking after your belongings to us and via the app platform. *******Features******** ** One Simple Dashboard All your things fitted with TASYL tracking technology visible from one dashboard. You can easily change to a List View of your App interface when you start using a lot of trackers. ** Play Sound on TASYL Device You can sound the built in sounders/buzzers in TASYL devices to more quickly find your device. ** Mark Device as Lost to TASYL community Using the simple TASYL App you can inform the wide TASYL network that you cannot find your device and the entire network will work together to find the TASYL device. When device is found by anyone in the network then you will be notified in the app and via email with the date, time and location where your device was spotted. **Last Known Location The TASYL App has been designed to work even when you are not actively using it in the foreground on your mobile phone. Our app looks after your devices by monitoring them and keeping a record of when they were last closer to you. So if you left the TASYL device in the office or with a friend the App will let you know time, date and location where you last left it. Important Notes: - The TASYL device is currently enabled such that you can share with up to two other mobile phone users using their email address. These other uses get all the benefits of the TASYL App other than the ability to mark device as Lost. This ability is with the Owner of the device. - The Community based Lost & Found feature is complimentary for the first year from the day the Tasyl device is registered by the owner with us via the App. Device registration with TASYL is done automatically once the owner adds the device first time to the Tasyl App. - The TASYL devices are fitted with various tracking technologies so as to better serve you in keeping your devices accounted for. The USB Flash Drive products are fitted with a BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) based tracker which sends a beacon(signal) to your mobile phone every few seconds. In an open playfield type area we can get around 200 meters of usable range when using the TASYL App. This distance drops when used in indoor situations and depends on where the TASYL device has been stored for safekeeping. Please note that any metal enclosure or proximity to metal has a serious effect on the wireless range of the USB Flash drive beacon signal. We have provided a RADAR type user interface for device control on the TASYL App to aid you to walk towards say the upper floor of your house and you can then see device in range and Play Sound using the TASYL App to then quickly locate it. - Please note that after the first year of use the TASYL App Community Lost & Found feature will be subscription based. However, the owner of the device can always mark device as lost in the TASYL App when needed and if the device comes within range of you or any of the people you have shared the device with then we will notify you when the device is found along with time, date and location of the device. - Please bear in mind that we use a combination of mobile phone GPS signals and other parameters to provide device location information. The GPS signals precision is heavily influenced in indoor situations so you may have to find the device when at the location using the sounder feature and the RADAR type interface which helps the user with the distance from the TASYL device using signal strength based graphical rings. - TASYL is a registered trademark of Taranga Systems Limited, United Kingdom
