By downloading the Star2M Application, you have been granted access to one of the most advanced asset management, monitoring and control systems in the world. Star2M can also be accessed by existing account holders via our web portal at https://portal.star2m.com. Star2M offers the features of remote monitoring and control, asset management, API access and customer support and can deliver true pole-to-pole coverage over land, sea and air by partnering with Iridium®, the only truly global satellite communications network. Star2M has been developed to meet the requirements of our users based on their feedback and replaces the Sealite GSM portal to allow the communication of data from satellite communication modules, Automatic Identification Systems (AIS) and third-party equipment. Star2M is a platform designed to be a convenient, user-friendly tool to interact with your Asset and Asset Groups, providing a central console for the user to manage all aspects of their Assets, from monitoring and control, service and maintenance to inventory management from a single location at the click of a button. Star2M is designed to run without constant supervision, where alerts provide the user with daily updates and status reports. It is important to note that the requirement for maintenance is not completely eliminated as Star2M provides reports that help identify and prevent faults before they occur. Star2M supports various access levels and permissions in order to manage, view and control each device. (e.g. buoys/markers –coordinates are set via Star2M). - Reporting and alerts of assets in real time. - Situational awareness built in, including near live tracking of the assets. - Quick alarm view functionality. - Mapping supports various layer and topographical filters. - Filter Map View by Asset type with dynamic links to your Assets. - Assign photos to Assets and Asset Groups. - Customisable settings for coordinates. - Addition of users. - Maintenance management, including history and report generation.
