VECMAP vs JRI MySirius Alert

The VECMAP® mobile app is a complimentary app only for users granted access via the VECMAP® software package. This app is used for field data entry into your VECMAP® data collection project(s). It does not have any stand-alone functionality. This app is part of the VECMAP® software package, a one-stop-shop for risk mapping. Climate change is underway and the ever increasing passenger and goods transports have a major influence on the global redistribution of species and diseases. It is particularly observable in the progressive spread of some diseases, detrimental changes in biodiversity and ecotoxicological effects and patterns. VECMAP® automates and optimises the complex task of mapping these risks and tracking their progress, and makes it possible to design strategies to manage the risks they pose. It combines, project management, satellite data and spatial modelling technology to drive the process from initial design to final spatial analysis. It ensures cost-effectiveness, and its successes to date prove that it gives researchers, managers and policy makers the results they need.

Always keep an eye on your installation to intervene quickly if needed, without having to worry about accessing JRI-MySirius from a desktop PC. MySirius Alert allows you to view alerts triggered on your JRI-MySirius installation. You can acknowledge these alerts and ensure traceability of the corrective actions. The MySirius Alert application is designed to easily identify and locate your equipment (Optional Maps module is required for location). You just have to scan the barcode of each device from the application to identify and access the information of the monitored equipment. It is also possible to apply basic configuration templates on your equipment to change thresholds and delays before triggering alerts. The application requires an Internet connection to synchronize with the JRI-MySirius platform. No need to connect to a PC to process your alerts on JRI-MySirius!
