Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Xtreme Off at none against Trailview's 17. Trailview's advantage is ratings volume (81 vs 2) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.6). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Trailview sells 17 one-off in-app purchases. Xtreme Off asks for nothing beyond the download.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 3.6 for Trailview against 3.5 for Xtreme Off. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Trailview has 81 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Trailview ships an update fortnightly, Xtreme Off every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
