You will love this app. Listen to many very interesting yet sometimes strange, unusual and spooky sounds from black holes, pulsars, stars, planets, moons, comets, meteors, space travel, and interstellar space. Additionally, there are sounds from historical manned and unmanned space missions with communications by astronauts, mission control centers, and other personnel as well as recordings of equipment used in these missions. Many of the sounds have an emphasis on scientific studies and were created by both data and actual audio collected from radio, infrared, and x-ray telescopes, low and high frequency radio receivers, and from sensors built into Mars rovers, probes and space labs. Nearly 70 years of space history are included in this app!
Satplex
Read full descriptionHide full description
Satplex is a real-time 3D satellite tracking app covering more than 30,000 objects in Earth's orbit — active satellites, rocket bodies, and debris, all visualized live on an interactive 3D globe. WHAT'S IN ORBIT From GPS and weather satellites to the International Space Station, explore the full catalog of tracked orbital objects. Search by name, browse by category, or tap any object for details — launch date, country of origin, orbital parameters, and an AI-generated description. LIVE ORBITAL TRACKING Every object is propagated in real time using SGP4, the same orbital model used by aerospace agencies worldwide. Watch positions update live as objects move across the globe — not a static snapshot, but the sky as it actually is right now. 3D GLOBE VISUALIZATION Zoom, rotate, and navigate Earth's full orbital shell, from low Earth orbit out to geostationary. See exactly where everything sits relative to Earth and to each other. Whether you're a space enthusiast, student, researcher, or just curious what's flying overhead, Satplex puts the entire orbital catalog in your pocket.
