A novel data structure learning app, the most significant feature is that you can dynamically debug the data structure in this app, and visually observe the changes in the data structure during the operation. In this app you can learn the following data structures: 1. Linear structures, including arrays, linked lists, queues, stacks. Linear structures are the basis for other advanced data structures, as fine as advanced algorithms. 2. Tree structures, including binary tree, binary search tree, AVL tree, red-black tree, and heap. In this app, you can dynamically debug three traversals of the binary tree (including non-recursive traversal implementations), searching in the tree, balance adjustments in the AVL tree and red-black tree, and heap sorting. Give you the ability of handwritten red-black trees. 3. Graph structure, including the adjacency list storage representation of the graph structure, depth-first search and breadth-first search, finding the Euler path in the graph, topological sorting, maximum connected components, minimum spanning tree problem, and shortest single source Path problem. It also provides dynamic debugging of these classic graph algorithms. 4. The data structure introductory class will talk about the problem of the Tower of Hanoi. The algorithm that solves this problem is often recursive. This app provides dynamic debugging of the Tower of Hanoi problem, so you can no longer be confused about the recursive calls of the Tower of Hanoi.

About

Swiftix

Features

Carry an interactive operating system lab in your pocket. Swiftix is a user-space virtual computing environment for Apple platforms. Use a shell, manage multiple virtual machines, build virtual networks, and explore how operating systems work through observable process, file system, and network state—all on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. TERMINAL AND COMMAND LINE • Run multiple terminal tabs with isolated shell sessions • Manage files, processes, and jobs with familiar commands • Inspect system behavior with ps, top, pstree, lsof, memstat, and strace • Use the built-in Swiftix Go toolchain and pkg package manager VIRTUAL MACHINE MANAGEMENT • Create, rename, search, start, shut down, restart, suspend, and resume VMs • Give every VM its own file system, process table, terminals, and network stack • Keep inventories, disks, and configurations saved locally VIRTUAL NETWORKING • Build isolated, routed, NAT-shared, and point-to-point networks • Configure IPv4 addresses, gateways, router mode, latency, and packet loss • Visualize connections in an interactive topology • Inspect interface counters, routes, ARP and TCP state, and switch forwarding tables SNAPSHOTS AND DATA TRANSFER • Create named snapshots, browse snapshot trees, and roll back changes • Clone independent VMs from snapshots • Import or export an entire virtual cluster for backup and transfer BUILT FOR LEARNING • Browse and search the built-in offline user guide • Switch between English and Simplified Chinese • Enjoy adaptive layouts designed for iPhone, iPad, and Mac • Customize app appearance, terminal themes, fonts, and text size Every feature is free, including virtual networking, routing, snapshots, and network monitoring, with up to 2 virtual machines. A one-time Swiftix Pro purchase lets you build labs with up to 64 virtual machines. No subscription. Please note: Swiftix is a user-space environment that runs inside the app process. It is not a hardware virtualizer, does not boot a native operating-system kernel, and does not provide access to the host device's shell.

Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is update cadence: Swiftix at weekly against Data Structure Display's every 5 months. Data Structure Display's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Data Structure Display sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Swiftix sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Data Structure Display ships an update every 5 months, Swiftix weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
