Verdict
The clearest difference is monetization model: Loopz at freemium against Loops & Clicks's subscription. Loopz also leads on iOS requirement (10.2 vs 18.0). Loops & Clicks's advantage is review sentiment (95% vs 60%) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Loopz sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Loops & Clicks sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Loops & Clicks holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Loops & Clicks has 471 ratings behind it against 86, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 60% of Loopz's written reviews are positive against 95% of Loops & Clicks's.
Loopz ships an update every 3 months, Loops & Clicks fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
