500,000 downloads. Six years of daily check-ins. One tap, no app launch. DayStamp turns every day you show up into a stamp on your calendar — and puts that calendar where you already look: your Home Screen, your Lock Screen, and your Apple Watch. Drink a liter of water, study for 30 minutes, stretch before work. Tap once. Watch the stamps pile up. WHY PEOPLE STAY FOR YEARS • Check in from a widget. No launching the app, no friction, no excuse. • Your week on the Lock Screen. The Weekly Report widget shows how the week is going before you unlock. • Apple Watch. Tap your wrist and the stamp lands. • Ask Siri. "Check in Running." Done. • Miss a day without breaking. Skip lets you log a day you couldn't make it — with a note or a photo — without it counting against your stats. WIDGETS, NOT JUST ONE • Check-in widget — log today's habits from the Home Screen • Calendar widget — a month of progress at a glance • Weekly Report widget — now on the Lock Screen • Recent Check-in widget — the latest record for one habit • Lock Screen wallpaper — DayStamp can generate a wallpaper of your week and set it automatically through Shortcuts RECORD MORE THAN A CHECKMARK • Add a note to any check-in — how it went, what got in the way • Attach a photo • Track your mood alongside the habit • Search and revisit everything in your Journal • Lock it all behind Face ID or a passcode SEE THE PATTERN • Monthly and yearly statistics with completion rates and trends • Monthly Review and Yearly Review — your top habits, your best streak, the month you almost quit • Streak notifications when a widget check-in extends your run • Group habits by area — health, study, work — and reorder them however you think YOUR DATA, KEPT SAFE • iCloud sync across every device you own • Dropbox backup and restore • Calendar integration — see your events and check-ins together PREMIUM Unlock every widget, full statistics, Skip, iCloud sync, calendar integration, and an ad-free app. Available monthly, yearly, or as a one-time Lifetime purchase — buy it once and it's yours, no subscription required. Premium includes Family Sharing for everyone in your family. DayStamp has been built and maintained by one developer for over six years. Every widget, every animation, every migration of your six-year-old data — made by hand, on purpose. Start today. Tomorrow you'll have a two-day streak. Focus Timer
Read full descriptionHide full description
Every session from now on is a step toward a more mindful life. Focus Timer is a simple way to see where your time actually goes. Make a handful of categories for anything you want to measure, good or bad: Work, Reading, Studying, Meditation… or Gaming and Scrolling, if you're up for it. Then start a timer with a default track and break time whenever you start one of them. That's the whole habit. After a few days the numbers start talking, and most people are surprised by what they hear. HOW IT WORKS • Pick a category, tap Start. • Pause when life gets in the way. Pauses are saved too, so your history stays honest. SEE WHERE YOUR TIME GOES • Your day as a timeline, in each category's colour. Pinch to zoom in, all the way down to the minute. • Every past day and week is there too. • Filter by category to see just your Work, or just your Gaming. ON YOUR WRIST • The Apple Watch app runs sessions on its own. Turn off your iPhone, leave it in another room, and keep tracking from your wrist. • Start on your iPhone, pause on your Watch. They stay in sync. JUST TELL SIRI • "Start Work in Focus Timer." Any category works, no setup needed. • Pause, resume, stop, take a break, or ask for today's summary without touching a thing. YOUR DATA, YOUR WAY • Everything syncs between your iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch through your own iCloud. • Export your whole history to CSV or SQL anytime, with a README that explains every column. Hand it to your spreadsheet, your analytics app or your AI and ask things like "Which hour of the day do I get the most tracked time, and is it different on weekends?" • Import it back whenever you like. • No accounts, no ads, no tracking. We never see your data. OUR PROMISE Create a handful of categories and keep tracking your sessions through the week. This one simple change will save you hours of your life, every week. We know from our testing that this works for most people, but certainly not everyone. If the experiment doesn't save you real time after a few days, please feel free to delete the app.

Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Focus Timer at none against DayStamp's shown. Focus Timer also leads on device support (4 vs 2). DayStamp's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.4). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
