L'app e-QoL è un progetto di Fondazione ICONA che consiste in una serie di questionari (PROs) per la raccolta di dati sulle condizioni di vita e salute di persone con HIV incluse nello studio di coorte ICONA. Un Patient Reported Outcome (PRO) viene definito come qualsiasi indicazione riportata direttamente dal paziente senza il coinvolgimento del medico o di qualsiasi altra figura professionale. La misurazione dei PROs ha dimostrato in numerosi studi anche di essere di utilità significativa, riflettendo le esperienze dei pazienti di vissuto con la condizione cronica dell'HIV. Per questo i questionari proposti, raccolti con il supporto di questa app sono fondamentali per una appropriata analisi da parte della comunità scientifica degli aspetti da essi indagati.
