Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: Working With Water at 5.0 against Theme Park Simulator's 4.0. Working With Water also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 11) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.0). Theme Park Simulator's advantage is ratings volume (2.6K vs 3) and review sentiment (70% vs 50%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Working With Water holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Theme Park Simulator has 2.6K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of Theme Park Simulator's written reviews are positive against 50% of Working With Water's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
