The call

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Home at 100% against Paymaster's 63%. Home also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and iOS requirement (10.2 vs 15.0). Paymaster's advantage is rating (4.0 vs 3.8). On price, ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Paymaster sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Home asks for nothing beyond the download.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Paymaster holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Home's written reviews are positive against 63% of Paymaster's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
