Welcome to Beach Siege! Below you'll find a small "how to" with high level information about how to play and navigate the game. I hope you enjoy! MENU Leaderboard - This is a global leaderboard that shows high scores for each of the available difficulties. If you don't choose a user-name you'll be using the "Default" name which is shared across all users who don't specify a name. Username - This name is how you show up on the leaderboards, as well as how your name shows up when you are playing in online matches. Campaign - 4 difficulty modes where you can earn Mint (which is used to purchase upgrades to towers and unlock new tower factions) as well as get your score in the global leaderboards. Online VS - VS mode is where you go head to head with another online player. You are responsible for both sending units for them to fight as well as building towers to defend against the units that they send you. (known issue- when you finish a vs mode match, your "income" will never change on the final screen) Online Co-Op - Here you will work WITH another online player to conquer the traditional 30 waves from the campaign mode, however the enemies are much more challenging. Factions - From this screen you can browse your Tower Factions, unlock new factions by spending Mint earned from Campaign Mode, or spend Mint to upgrade all towers within a faction by 1 level. GAMEPLAY After starting a match you will be prompted to select a faction. You will only have your unlocked factions visible to you. The percentage bar under the faction name is a way to view your completion of upgrades for the towers within that faction (each tower can go up to level 50). After selecting a faction the match will start. You must build towers to defend your ship from the impending waves of enemies (the timer in the top left tells you when the next wave is due). Build towers by selecting them from your list of available towers and tapping a square, if you regret your placement you have 3 seconds to refund that tower for the full price after which it can be sold for 75% of its original cost. To sell or refund towers, select them by tapping them and click the "sell" or "refund" button in the bottom right. You can also upgrade the tower (if eligible) by clicking the button in the top right. Selecting a tower shows the range in a circle around it, as well as information about how it performs in combat. Each kill awards that tower type some XP, when a certain type of tower gains enough XP ALL towers of that type will level up and increase their range and base damage. Bosses come every 5 waves. They will do 3 things: 1. Spawn Bomb, these bombs need to be tapped on or they will destroy towers near them 2. Spawn Enemies, these enemies are much stronger than their regular counterparts 3. Spawn Healing Zones, nothing to be done about these, but enemies who walk through them gain 10% of their health back.

Experience a fresh take on turn based tactics with Tactic Legends, a player vs. player focused indie game with stunning 2.5D graphics inspired by the classics. Easy to learn, difficult to master. Completely free-to-play, ads are optional and all content in the game can be unlocked simply by playing! Start by forming your party of 5 from a roster of 10+ unique characters, and then customize your playstyle further by equipping them each with 4 tide-turning items from the 100+ you'll discover throughout your battles. Match with other players of your skill level globally in ranked mode to put your wit to the ultimate test and climb on the leaderboards, or play private matches with your friends without consequence of consuming your precious items. In combat, you'll need to make sure you pay attention to the positioning, height, and direction of you and your enemies, as this will influence the potency of your attacks. Your basic attacks will prompt you with a meter where you'll have to quickly yet carefully time your strike and attempt to land a critical blow, which rewards you with increased damage and a bonus ability point. You only generate 1 ability point per turn normally, so landing critical strikes are essential in being able to unleash your most powerful abilities before your opponent does. As you play ranked matches your characters will earn experience on their abilities after each use, increasing their effects and/or potency up until mastery level. You'll earn rewards after each battle which you can use to increase your stock of items as well as unlock new characters and cosmetics, with bonus rewards being earned each time you walk away victorious. Immerse yourself in the varied personas expressed through voicelines, taunts, and exclusive abilities of the legends, including: Koji the Thief: Agile and cunning, Koji utilizes his lightning-quick movement and far-reaching capabilities to outsmart any situation and steal items from unsuspecting players. Chip the Defender: As sturdy and stout as a tortoise, Chip employs his formidable defense and health to soak up the brunt of enemy attacks while sheltering his comrades with protective embers. Saqret the Enchantress: Harnessing mystical powers of song, Saqret substitutes offensive prowess with healing magic to assist allies while charming her enemies to manipulate and control their actions. Irbis the Lancer: An expert in melee attacks with extended range, this frost-laden warrior enhances his lance with ice magic to slow down and and even freeze his opponents. Sprigg the Mage: Be not deceived, for the petite powerhouse can conjure wide-ranging destructive fire magic and holds poison within his skin, leaving enemies doubting their attack decisions! Outside of this initial roster, you can currently unlock 5 other characters each with their own unique playstyle and abilities, with more characters intended to be added over time. While there are in-app purchases available, they're mostly time-saving or cosmetic, and a ton of effort has been put into the game mechanics to make sure it isn't pay-to-win! Tactic Legends is cross-platform and cross-progression between mobile and PC, so you can play with your friends or resume your progress regardless of your device! *Note: Tactic Legends is currently in an 'early access' state, and some features/content may not yet be available. This is an indie game developed by just 1 person, so please consider supporting the developer through the available in-app purchases! This is the first game I've ever built, so I hope you enjoy it! Please also join the community to speak with me directly and provide feedback or simply engage with other likeminded players! Best of luck to you, legends!
