About

LifeCycle Calculator

LifeCycle Calculator is an educational financial simulation tool for exploring lifetime wealth, retirement readiness, and lifecycle-based investing. Use age, income, assets, retirement targets, expected returns, inflation, and risk preferences to model how human capital, financial assets, and pension value may evolve over time. The app helps compare a traditional portfolio with a lifecycle strategy inspired by Samuelson ratio concepts. Key features: - Retirement readiness: estimate retirement cash-flow coverage using financial assets, pension assumptions, and a 4% rule reference. - Lifecycle investing model: explore how financial capital, human capital, and risk preference can affect suggested equity exposure and leverage paths. - Strategy comparison: compare a lifecycle strategy against a 60/40 baseline and visualize potential long-term differences. - Interactive charts: review leverage path, wealth composition, financial assets, human capital, and pension value over time. - Taiwan and U.S. modes: use Traditional Chinese with NTD and Taiwan labor pension assumptions, or English with USD and U.S. Social Security estimates. - Private by design: all simulations are performed on device. The app does not collect, transmit, or store personal financial data on external servers. Important: This app is for education and scenario modeling only. Results are estimates based on user inputs and assumptions. They are not financial, investment, tax, or retirement advice.
