Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: ThorAlert at 3.8 against WeatherSentry's 3.3. ThorAlert also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.6). WeatherSentry's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (38 vs 6). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
