Most yards still write the gate down on paper. A clipboard at the guard shack, a whiteboard by the dock doors, a spreadsheet someone updates when they get a minute. The yard check gets done every shift and then it dies on the clipboard. Vantage puts that on the phone in your pocket. Take a photo of the trailer number at the gate and the app reads it. The clerk confirms it, and the spot, the time, the photo and who logged it are all recorded together. Anyone on the next shift can read it. Built for 3PLs, distribution centers, and warehouses that need to know what is on the ground today, not after a six-month IT project. WHY VANTAGE • No scanners, no kiosks, no gate hardware. The phone is the terminal. • Keeps working in the yard, at the dock, and in the truck when the signal drops. • Start free, no card: Pro features for 14 days (up to 3 users), then the Free plan. • Available in English and Spanish. • Large button mode for gloved hands. PRICING Start free: Pro features for 14 days (up to 3 users), then the Free plan (up to 3 users, 1 yard, 100 gate transactions a month, 30 days of history). No card, no expiry. Going over 100 does not block Gate IN or OUT. Lite $149/mo. Pro $349/mo. Scale $649/mo. Enterprise on request. No setup fee, no scanner hardware, no per-gate charge. CORE FEATURES GATE LOG Gate IN and Gate OUT in a few taps. Walk-in trailers and scheduled appointments in the same flow. The BOL number, the seal number and the trailer number stay on the same record, so there are no orphan records to chase later. Scan the barcode on a US or Canadian driver license instead of typing the driver's name. YARD CHECK Walk the yard and scan. Slot list view, dock occupancy, and bulk Yard Check scanning replace the paper sheet. Switch between yards in one tap. TRAILER NUMBER CAPTURE In the iPhone app, point the camera at a trailer, container or chassis number and it reads the number for you. The clerk confirms every read, which helps catch a mis-read before it is saved. When the light or the paint is against you, type it in and carry on. C-TPAT 7-POINT INSPECTION (Pro plan and above, and during your first 14 days) A guided 7-point container inspection, following CBP's C-TPAT checklist: outside and undercarriage, doors, right side, left side, front wall, ceiling and floor. Each point gets a photo, the seal number is entered, the driver can sign on the screen, and the time is recorded, plus the approximate location if you allow it. It all goes into a PDF audit support pack with a SHA-256 hash for each photo, designed to support customs and security audit workflows. C-TPAT inbound checks are on by default: after your first Gate IN, a loaded trailer also asks for the seal number and the 7 photos. Empty trailers skip it, and you can switch it off in Settings. Vantage is not a CBP-certified company; the workflow supports your own compliance program. OFFLINE-FIRST Real offline operation, not "cached UI." After you sign in, a 500-item local queue holds up to 14 days of work and syncs automatically when you reconnect. Built so a dropped signal does not lose your work. TASKS Forklift operators and yard drivers get their LIVE LOAD, DROP & HOOK and MOVE tasks on the phone. Forklift operators run a pre-shift safety check before the first job. APPOINTMENT SCHEDULING Carriers book dock slots; managers approve. Late arrivals are flagged as no-shows, and dwell timers are built in. ANALYTICS Live KPIs for gate volume, dock utilization, and dwell time. Drill from a single number down to the trailer that caused it. CARRIER PORTAL External carriers book appointments and see their trailers on the web, without a phone call to dispatch. PRIVACY & SECURITY Row-Level Security on every table. End-to-end TLS. GDPR and CCPA-aligned data retention. LEARN MORE vantageyms.com kevin.choi@vantage-yms.com We run a simulated working yard through the app every day and fix what it finds before release.
