Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
WalkingDoggo holds the better App Store score, 2.0 against 1.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of BEAT's written reviews are positive against 33% of WalkingDoggo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
BEAT ships an update every 3 weeks, WalkingDoggo every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
