Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: GhostSpeech at 5.0 against AI Ace's 4.5. GhostSpeech also leads on ads (none vs shown). AI Ace's advantage is ratings volume (39 vs 2). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI Ace sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and GhostSpeech sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
GhostSpeech holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AI Ace has 39 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
AI Ace ships an update weekly, GhostSpeech every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
