Verdict
Gabriel Pizza and Upside Drinks both sit at 5.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 86% of Upside Drinks's written reviews are positive against 21% of Gabriel Pizza's. Upside Drinks also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 16 months) and ratings volume (28 vs 4). Gabriel Pizza's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, rating and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Gabriel Pizza holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Upside Drinks has 28 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 21% of Gabriel Pizza's written reviews are positive against 86% of Upside Drinks's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Gabriel Pizza ships an update every 16 months, Upside Drinks every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
