Ask a question. See how differently people answer it. "Is a hotdog a sandwich?" 62% said yes. Among people under 25, only 38% did. That second line is what Hypothesis is for. HOW IT WORKS 1. Ask something. A yes/no question, a multiple choice, or a rating out of five. 2. Share it. Post it to the feed, send someone a link, or invite a specific group. 3. Everyone who answers sees the results. The results show the totals first. Open the breakdown underneath and you can see how the answers differed by age group, by gender, and by country. WHY THESE NUMBERS ARE WORTH READING Most online polls are easy to skew. These are harder. You answer once, and you cannot change it afterwards. There are no take-backs and no second votes, which is the whole reason the totals mean anything. Your individual answer is never shown to anyone. Not to the person who asked, not to other people answering, not anywhere in the app. Only grouped totals are ever published. A group only appears once at least 25 people are in it. If four people from one country answered, that country is not shown at all β€” not as a small number, not as zero, it simply is not there. You will sometimes see a breakdown with a row missing, and that is why. Your profile is optional, all of it. Skip it and your answers still count in every total. They just will not appear in any of the group breakdowns. ASKING A SMALLER GROUP Not every question belongs in public. PUBLIC β€” anyone can find it in the feed and answer it. LINK ONLY β€” it never appears in the feed. Only people you send the link to can answer, and they can pass it on. INVITE ONLY β€” only people who open your invite can answer. You can revoke the invite later, and remove people who already joined. YOU DO NOT NEED AN ACCOUNT TO ANSWER Browsing and answering need no sign-up at all. You only create an account when you want to publish a question of your own β€” so that people can see who asked it, and so we can act on reports. Ask something you have genuinely wondered about!

About

Knowledge Base

Features

β–  Knowledge that grows on its own Just save the articles you find interesting β€” AI quietly compiles them into your own encyclopedia in the background. Knowledge Base is the gentle second brain that helps you graduate from "read once, forget forever." β–  Save from anywhere, in one step - Save articles directly from Safari or any app's Share Sheet - The + button also lets you add URLs, text, PDFs, photos (OCR), and audio (transcription) - Non-English or non-Japanese content is automatically translated into your chosen language before it's organized Saving finishes instantly β€” the heavy lifting happens in the background, so you're never kept waiting. β–  AI organizes key points by topic AI automatically creates and updates "concept pages" β€” your own personal wiki β€” across multiple articles. Open the Knowledge tab and topic summaries are always shown up to date. - The most important points come first, no tapping required - Related concepts link to each other automatically, so your knowledge connects - Every page can always be traced back to its original article β–  Chat that answers with citations "What did that article actually say again?" Ask the AI Chat. - Answers are generated only from the articles you've saved - Tap a citation number to jump straight to the source article - When general knowledge is used to fill a gap, it's always labeled clearly β–  Fix AI's mistakes in one sentence - Tap "Correct" on any article's detail page and describe the fix in plain language (e.g. "Claude Code is being misread as something else") - Unwanted concepts or tags can be edited, merged, or hidden anytime You always stay in control. β–  Privacy by design - All AI processing runs entirely on-device via Apple Intelligence - No ads, no tracking, zero data sent to external servers - iCloud sync uses only your own private database β–  A calm, considered aesthetic A palette of sumi ink and washi paper, elegant Mincho headlines, and breathing negative space inspired by seigaiha waves. Every time you open it, it feels quiet and refined. β–  Languages Knowledge Base supports 4 interface languages: English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese. AI-generated summaries, concept pages, and chat replies follow the same language, chosen automatically from your device's language on first launch (you can change it anytime in Settings > Generation Language). β–  Requirements (important) - AI features (automatic concept-page generation, AI Chat, summaries, translation, auto-tagging) require an iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence - Please turn on Apple Intelligence in Settings before use - Even without Apple Intelligence, you can still save, search, browse, and organize tags for your articles Now, put your iPhone's AI to full use and turn everything you read into knowledge that's truly your own.
