Verdict
HollyView and Canon Multi both sit at 2.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 37% of Canon Multi's written reviews are positive against 15% of HollyView's. HollyView's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (73 vs 13). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
HollyView holds the better App Store score, 2.4 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HollyView has 73 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of HollyView's written reviews are positive against 37% of Canon Multi's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
HollyView ships an update monthly, Canon Multi every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
