Random number generator are numbers that are unpredictably chosen at random. The applications for random numbers are multiple, for example draws and fast card games. FEATURES: • Number generator (custom range) • Bingo (lottery) • Dice roller • A custom item from a list generator • Yes or No • Toss Coin • Card generator • Rock-Paper-Scissors • Map Point • Color • Date & Time • Letter generator With this application you can generate your random numbers for your drawings. An important part of conducting a draw is the generation of the random number that gives you the winning number of the draw. You can write the participants in an excel, assign a number to each of the participants, and then draw a random number to choose the winner. You can also ask each participant in the draw to say a number in something, and with this random number generator draw the random number. COMMON QUESTIONS Are the numbers really random? They come from the system's own random generator, the one iOS uses for cryptography. There is no seed to guess and no pattern to learn. Does it need internet or an account? Neither. Every draw happens on the phone, offline, with nothing to sign up for. What can it draw besides a number? Bingo balls, dice, a coin, a playing card, a letter, a colour, a date and time, a point on the map, rock-paper-scissors, and a name from a list you type in. Can I draw a winner from my own list? Yes. Paste or type the entries, one per line, and let it pick. That is usually fairer than numbering people first. Can I use it for a giveaway? You can, and people do. Record the screen or take a screenshot while you draw: the app keeps no certificate, so the proof has to be yours. Why did the same number come up twice? Because each draw is independent — that is what random means. A range of 1 to 10 will repeat sooner than most people expect. Use bingo mode if you need every value once. BINGO WITH VOICE Bingo draws 75 or 90 balls without repeats, calls each one aloud (with the letter in 75-ball games), can draw by itself every 3 to 15 seconds and has a big-screen view for the room or a TV. SPIN THE WHEEL Type your names or options one per line, or open any saved list, and spin. One switch takes the winner out after each spin. Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Random Things Generator at none against Random's 1. Random Things Generator also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). Random's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, review sentiment, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
