CIY Convos vs Custom Devotion

Convos is an app created by Christ in Youth to help small groups have meaningful in-person conversations. Rather than having one person lead the conversation from list of questions, Convos gets the entire group engaged through games, videos, polls, and open-ended questions. By passing the device around, everyone in the group gets a chance to lead and participate in the conversation, resulting in more engagement, better comprehension, and lasting memories.

Custom Devotion writes Bible studies the way you'd want them written - your theology, your denomination, for your audience. No more reading devotionals that water down doctrine to please everyone, or skip the exegesis, or ignore the question you actually came in with. Tell Custom Devotion who you are and what you're studying, and it generates a tailored devotion in seconds. HOW IT WORKS • Set your defaults once — translation, denomination, audience, length, voice. • Quick Study: type a passage or topic and tap Generate. Two taps, one tailored study. • Build a Study: open the full 11-question questionnaire when you want fine control. • Save, share, and export to PDF for small group, family worship, or your own files. BUILT FROM A CONSERVATIVE PROTESTANT FRAME Custom Devotion writes from within historic, conservative Protestant Christianity. Supported traditions include Reformed, Baptist, Reformed Baptist, Presbyterian (PCA / EPC / OPC), Methodist (Global / Free), Lutheran (LCMS / WELS), Non-denominational, Evangelical Free, Wesleyan, Holiness, and Plymouth Brethren. If a request lands outside that frame, the app declines gently rather than faking a perspective we can't faithfully represent. By design. BIBLE TRANSLATIONS Public-domain translations like KJV, BSB, and WEB are quoted in full inside studies. For copyright-restricted translations — ESV, NIV, NASB, NKJV, NRSV, NLT, CSB, AMP, The Message — studies are written using your translation as the reference point with verse references shown, so you can read the text in your own Bible. WHO IT'S FOR • The dad planning family worship who wants more than a stock devotional. • The small-group leader prepping a Tuesday-night study. • The Sunday school teacher building a 4-week unit. • The reader who studies their Bible seriously and wants a tool that respects that. SUBSCRIPTION Personal — 10 studies per month, save unlimited, PDF export. $9.99/mo or $79.99/yr. Pro — 50 studies per month, longer studies, all advanced options. $14.99/mo or $119.99/yr. Each plan includes a 14-day free trial. Family Sharing enabled. Subscriptions auto-renew at the price shown above unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Manage or cancel anytime in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your iPhone. PRIVACY Custom Devotion does not track you, does not run analytics, does not show ads, and does not maintain user accounts. Your saved defaults, library, and presets live on your phone. The only thing that leaves your device is your questionnaire input when you tap Generate, so the AI can write the devotion.
