The clearest difference is update cadence: SmartLoop at every 2 months against LUX Control's every 6 months. SmartLoop also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). LUX Control's advantage is ratings volume (73 vs 4). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for SmartLoop against 4.9 for LUX Control.
