As with voltage drop, underground duct bank calculations are not a code requirement. Although local authorities may require these calculations. Neher-McGrath calculations are important, especially if the design sizing will ever be fully loaded. A prime example would be a data center application. There are many expensive software tools available and may be required to fit your exact installation. The National Electrical Code (NEC) provides some guidance on the subject; although, applying all of the considerations can be tedious. This application looks-up the data within the NEC. If you have ever looked through Annex B, you know the fun double chart you have to remember how to use. This app also pulls through some of the written text to achieve two cell duct banks, for instance. We welcome feedback.

All your electrical calculations in one place — fast, accurate, and code-compliant. ConduitFill Pro is a professional electrician's calculator built for modern electrical work. Every result includes formulas, steps, and code references, so you can verify the work with confidence. Used by apprentices, journeymen, master electricians, and inspectors. Conduit Fill Calculator supports EMT, IMC, RMC, PVC (Sch 40/80), ENT, FMC, and LFMC across 10 trade sizes and multiple insulation types including THHN, XHHW, RHH, THW, and USE-2. Verifies against standard fill limits (53% / 31% / 40%) and includes Nipple Mode for 60% fill on runs under 24 inches. Find Minimum Conduit Size by entering wire count and gauge to instantly get the smallest compliant conduit for your installation. Junction Box Fill calculates conductors, clamps, devices, equipment grounding conductors, and fixture studs and hickeys. Voltage Drop Calculator supports single-phase and three-phase systems, copper and aluminum conductors, and automatically determines minimum wire size. Easily check voltage drop for conductors from your conduit fill calculation. Every calculation includes a full step-by-step breakdown with formulas and values — no black box. You see exactly how results are calculated. Built-in reference tables cover conduit fill percentages, conduit areas, conductor areas, ampacity ratings, and box fill rules. All data aligns with current industry standards. Generate clean PDF reports with inputs, formulas, references, and timestamps — ready for inspections and project documentation. Works fully offline with all reference data stored locally. No internet required, making it reliable on job sites, basements, and panel rooms.
