Folklore.org vs Spirit Boxly

Folklore is an application devoted to friendly jokes and stories about anything and anyone involved into making the original computers happen. It captures and presents sets of related stories that describe interesting events from multiple perspectives, allowing groups of people to recount their shared history in the form of interlinked memories. Folklore uses lots of relatively short anecdotes rather than a longer, monolithic narrative because anecdotes are inherently modular and extensible, so the story can be elaborated indefinitely by multiple authors, without compromising their individual voices. Interlinked anecdotes also leverage the definitive characteristic of the web, the link, to form little webs of their own, and be stitched into the greater tapestry of the web itself, in a fashion that's not possible on the printed page.

Turn your iPhone into a complete paranormal investigation toolkit. Spirit Boxly combines a live EMF meter, EVP recorder, Spirit Box, field radar, and guided case reports in one dark, field-ready app. Start a session, mark unusual moments, and review sensor readings, audio events, and sweep responses together. RUN A COMPLETE INVESTIGATION Add a location, case name, team members, and notes. Spirit Boxly records magnetic-field samples, motion, audio markers, observations, and Spirit Box responses on one synchronized timeline. LIVE EMF METER Use your iPhone’s magnetometer to measure nearby magnetic-field changes. Set a room baseline, monitor peaks, inspect sensor axes, and look for repeatable anomalies while the phone remains still. EVP RECORDER Capture original audio, watch live levels, mark suspicious moments, and replay recordings around exact timestamps. Recordings and case data remain saved locally on your device. SPIRIT BOX Run controlled static sweeps with adjustable speeds and selectable word banks. Use blind review mode to reduce suggestion, then inspect the timestamped response log. FIELD RADAR Visualize magnetic-vector direction, movement quality, and changes from the room baseline in real time. CASE REPORTS Finish a session to create an organized report containing duration, peak EMF, anomalies, EVP markers, Spirit Box responses, the highest-activity window, and event history. FREE TO EXPLORE The EMF meter and field radar remain free. Free Spirit Box and EVP sessions run for up to three minutes, with one saved investigation. Spirit Boxly Pro is a one-time lifetime unlock for unlimited cases and an ad-free experience. IMPORTANT iPhone sensors can measure magnetic fields, motion, and sound; they cannot scientifically confirm paranormal activity. Spirit Boxly is intended for entertainment and experimental use. Review results critically and account for electronics, movement, and environmental noise.
