QingTrace combines a calendar heatmap with a buddy system into one habit‑tracking app. Check in daily to grow your heatmap, and pair up with a buddy to keep each other accountable — you can see each other's progress in real time. Who it's for / not for - For: Anyone who has tried to build a new habit alone and given up. Anyone who wants a friend to check in with, see each other's streaks, and stay motivated together. - Not for: Users who prefer solo tracking and don't need social accountability. Key use cases 1. Daily check‑in + heatmap visualization Every check‑in fills a tile on your calendar heatmap. Three views (month / week / year) — the longer you persist, the deeper the green. 2. Buddy accountability Pair with a buddy in one of three modes (buddy / supervisor / supervisee). Home screen shows both sides' progress side by side. Create check‑in tasks for your buddy; once accepted they go on their schedule. One‑tap nudge sends a reminder card to their home screen. 3. Check in from home screen 8 widgets + Dynamic Island for live progress. Complete check‑ins without opening the app — perfect for quick daily taps. 4. Review & stats Monthly and yearly auto‑generated reviews: check‑in days, longest streak, completion rate, time‑of‑day habits. Yearly review can be exported as a long image and shared. What makes it different Most habit trackers are solo only. QingTrace puts the buddy system front and center — you can see each other's actual check‑in data, not just cheer from a chat group. If you want genuine accountability with someone who can see your real progress, this is the approach.
