Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: My Bible Study at 4.9 against Torah Class's 4.6. My Bible Study also leads on iOS requirement (12.2 vs 14.0). Torah Class's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (108 vs 34). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
My Bible Study holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 108 and 34 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Torah Class's written reviews are positive against 67% of My Bible Study's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Torah Class ships an update monthly, My Bible Study every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
