Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: ScaleClock at 5.0 against Worship Pad's 4.4. ScaleClock also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.5 vs 17.2). Worship Pad's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (8 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ScaleClock sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $10.99 per month and Worship Pad sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
ScaleClock holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Worship Pad has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
ScaleClock ships an update every 8 days, Worship Pad every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
