eUlift vs Typeciao

eUlift is an Erasmus+ project (2016-2019) which provides a full training in patient handling for caregivers and for trainers. As a theoretical framework, an e-book was developed with full explanation concerning general ergonomics, anatomy, biomechanics, general causes of back pain, pathology, pain education, postures, natural movement, basic postures and movements and basic care tasks. All illustrated with pictures. 3D animations in the app Our avatars Nina (caregiver) and Jacob (patient) demonstrate all techniques. With the 3D animations you can rotate until you have the angle of your preference (f.e. have a closer look at the position of the feet), you also have the option to pause, go 3sec forwards or backwards. Basic postures and movements are documented with animations in the app as well. In the app the Banner Mobility Assessment Tool guides you through the patients mobility and leads to a customized 3D animation of a patient handling technique. The use of this validated assessment is an added value to any care facility to improve patient safety. Once you know your patients mobility level, you can immediately go the patient handling trainer to choose the transfer you need and watch the 3D animation. All animations are short, detailed and provided with keypoints. The app is easy to use and developed to be used in practice. At our website: https://eulift-app.com/ you can find a full train-the-trainer manual with didactics, learning outcomes and tips in how to implement the tool in your practice. Learn a language every time you chat. Most language apps make you study like a student: flashcards, streaks, sentences about owls and apples you'll never say out loud. Typeciao works the other way. It's a keyboard, so you learn inside the messages you already write every day, in your chat apps, email, notes, anywhere you type. HOW IT WORKS • Get corrected as you type. Write in the language you're learning and Typeciao highlights your mistakes before you hit send. • Stuck on a word? Write it in your own language and see how to say it in the one you're learning, right under your message. • Friends don't speak it? Practice anyway. Write in the language you're learning, tap once, and they get the message in their language. • Ask the Tutor. Get a short explanation of any fix, so you understand the rule, not just the correction. • Speak and listen. Dictate messages and hear the right pronunciation. YOUR MISTAKES, TURNED INTO LESSONS Typeciao collects the mistakes you actually make and the new words you actually need into one report. Download it as a PDF or share it with your teacher, so your next lesson is about your real life, not a textbook. You choose whether to collect, and you can stop anytime. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Learning mode is a switch. Turn it off and Typeciao is a standard keyboard: nothing you type leaves your phone. • In learning mode your text is sent without your name or account to be corrected and translated, then comes straight back. We don't store your messages. • Password, PIN and card fields are never read. BUILT FOR • Intermediate learners stuck between understanding and speaking • Expats learning the language of where they live • Anyone in a multilingual relationship or friendship • People who are done with apps that feel like homework Stop studying.
