The average U.S. household pays about $2,000 a year in tariffs — the import tax baked into the price of most things brought in from abroad. Stores pass it on. You pay at the register, usually without knowing how much. TariffTorcher shows you the real number. Three steps: Scan a barcode or type the UPC. Confirm the country where the product was made. See the tariff built into the price, the effective rate, and the post-tariff total. What's inside: Live tariff calculation against the current U.S. Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS), maintained by the U.S. International Trade Commission Automatic country-of-origin detection from product databases and barcode region — overridable with one tap Editable price for when auto-filled retailer listings don't match what you paid Direct catalog search at Trader Joe's, Costco, Safeway, and Raley's Saved scans with per-product price history that builds up over time Share any result as a branded image Plain-language explanations of every term — tariff rate, HTS, country of origin What's not inside: No ads. No tracking. No subscription. No account required. Your scans stay on your phone. Built by Left Coast Media Corporation.
