About

Particle Studio Physics

Features

Particle Studio turns physics into music. Drop a few hundred particles onto a floor, tune the gravity and the bounce, and every landing plays a note. What comes out is a short, hypnotic video with a soundtrack nobody composed — it was performed by the simulation. Everything renders on your phone. No account, no upload, no waiting on a server. HOW IT WORKS 1. Pick a shape — a line, a disc, a heart, a star, or type a word and watch the particles spell it out. 2. Tune the physics — gravity, drop height, bounce, and the order the particles fall in. 3. Export — every landing becomes a note on the instrument you chose. There is no timeline and nothing to keyframe. The preview runs live at full frame rate, with the sound playing along with it, so what you see and hear is what you get. SHAPES Line, circle, square, rectangle, triangle, hexagon, ring, heart, star — and Text, which lays the particles out as whatever you type, with the floor sized to fit the word. MOVEMENT Thirteen ways for the particles to fall: centre-out, edge-in, spiral, ripple, wave, pinwheel, diagonal, rows, columns, scatter and more. The order shapes the motion and the melody at the same time. SOUND Fourteen instruments — marimba, glass bell, electric piano, pluck, square lead, synth pad, music box, kalimba, vibraphone, wood block, harp, bass drop, choir and steel drum — plus an eight-voice drum kit with kick, snare, hi-hat, toms, clap and rimshot. Add reverb and echo, choose major or minor and shift the octave, then tap the speaker: the rig plays while you edit, every bounce on its own note. Change the gravity and the tempo changes with it. LOOK • Any of 57 emoji, or the flag of 33 countries, as the particle itself • Your own photo wrapped around a sphere, not pasted on flat • Six particle shapes: sphere, cube, diamond, hexagon, ring, star • Metallic and glass finishes on any of them • Background photos with blur and dim, or two-colour gradients • Separate colours for glow, floor, reflection and shadow • Dozens of palettes, from cool blues to magma EXPORT • Full HD, 2K and true 4K, at 30 or 60 fps • Portrait 9:16, landscape 16:9, square 1:1 — the camera reframes itself, so nothing gets cropped • Up to five minutes per clip • Saves straight to Photos as an ordinary MP4, ready to share anywhere SCENES Start from a ready-made scene — Ocean Dais, Magma Wave, Fireworks, Neon Hex, Star Field, Drum Machine, Paper Cubes, Emerald Ring, World Cup, Love Letter — then change anything you like. Or press Random and get a rig you would never have designed yourself. FREE AND PREMIUM Particle Studio is free, and the free version is genuinely usable: the line, circle and square rigs, the full physics, six instruments, reverb and echo, camera control, hearing the rig play while you edit, and Full HD export at 60 fps in all three frame shapes. Premium adds: • 2K and true 4K export • No watermark and no end card • Rectangle, triangle, hexagon, ring, heart and star rigs • Text, emoji and flag particles • The sunflower rig and motion trails • The full instrument set and the drum kit • Hexagon, ring and star particles, and every movement • Metallic and glass particles • The Random button, which rolls a whole new rig in one tap • No ads Premium features can also be opened by watching a rewarded advert — one advert opens one thing for 20 minutes, so you can try anything before deciding. One advert buys one shape, one instrument or one movement, and Random is one roll per advert. Premium is an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation, and it renews automatically at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.
