About

The Last Ember

Eldervale is going dark. You carry the last ember across a ruined kingdom toward a lighthouse that may still be able to kindle hope. The Last Ember is a narrative dark-fantasy roguelite told entirely from a first-person perspective. Every journey is shaped by your seed and your choices. You never see the hero—only the world opening in front of them. CHOOSE YOUR ROAD • Decide whom to trust, what to sacrifice, and what traces you leave behind. • Face dangerous encounters as multi-stage narrative decisions instead of real-time combat. • Manage health, stamina, gold, supplies, and the ember's strength. • Find items, build relationships, and trigger delayed consequences. • Travel through three regions, deal with factions, and take at most one companion. • Discover different truths, visible callbacks, and eight possible endings. A DIFFERENT RUN EVERY TIME The seed shapes omens, regions, characters, pursuers, resources, and turning points. Your decisions change the sequence of events, unlock special options, and can return to you later. No account or online connection is required. The prologue is free to play. The complete five-act journey is unlocked with a one-time in-app purchase. There are no banner ads and no ordinary interstitials. The Last Ember autosaves after every decision. Pause a run, continue it later, or replay the same seed to test a different path.
