Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Splix at 4.7 against BriskNote's 3.0. Splix also leads on ratings volume (7 vs 1). BriskNote's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 15 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
