The SmartSearch function allows you to select your current, or any other location and the species at that location will be filtered. Over and above the GPS location, you can search by shape, type, colours, size, habits, striking features and more. There are 100's of attributes you can choose from, which makes identifying a bird accurate and easy. As a first ever bird app achievement, the resulting species list is sorted by relevance with the most probable species matching your search criteria at the top, which makes it extremely quick and accurate. The ability to remove birds from the results is a game-changer. You can also log your sightings with trip descriptions, date, photos and notes, which are then indicated as pins on the distribution maps. Sightings lists can be viewed and can even be synced to a website and shared between devices. No internet connectivity is required to operate the app after it is installed which makes it possible to use the app in the most remote locations. All updates are regular and free.

It is with great pleasure that on behalf of the Scandinavian beekeepers we can invite you to participate in the 49th APIMONDIA Congress in Copenhagen September 2025. We are eager to present you to our beekeeping, countries and culture. The congress will be organized jointly by the beekeeper associations in Sweden, Norway and Denmark: Sveriges Biodlares Riksförbund, Norges Birøkterlag and Danmarks Biavlerforening. There are so many things dividing us people in the world today - and there are so few precious things bringing us together. Beekeeping and our common love for the bees and their world is one of them. It is so important for us to create a space in Copenhagen where people can meet and create bonds and friendships for life. In short, we want to make this congress for the bees, beekeepers, scientists, the industry and for the people from all over the world who care about bees and honey and beekeeping. Our visions for the congress are: Showcasing pure apiary products! Unity and knowledge sharing. Together, we make the world bloom.
