LRD vs Pray the Psalter

The LRD application contains the liturgical text & rites of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church. The LRD app dynamically provides the prayers for the current day and hour using the "Pray Now" feature. A background audio option is also available to accompany users while they access the daily prayers. Users have the ability to control their preferences, including "Do No Disturb" and "Night Mode Prayer Screen" settings. The LRD app also provides our user intuitive gestures, including pinch to zoom for prayer text sizing, back swipe navigation, and portrait/landscape views (with auto fullscreen mode). Additionally, the navigational options provided within the LRD app allows users to seamlessly toggle between the various resources. The Church has been praying the Psalms, privately and corporately, since the very beginning. From the believers in Acts 4 praying Psalm 2, to early monastics reciting the entire Psalter every day, the Psalms infuse Orthodox worship through today. "Pray the Psalter" offers three ways to include the Psalms in daily prayer: - Pray the Psalms one-by-one - Pray the Daily Hours (Psalms assigned to different parts of the day) - Pray the designated 'kathismata' (or part of one) day-by-day Bookmark a Psalm to add a personal note, and tag Psalms to create custom lists. This psalter uses the text of the King James Version, edited to conform to the Septuagint. Holy Prophet David, intercede for us!
