GPXPicker is an application that retrieves the route data of workouts recorded on the Apple Watch and stored on the iPhone as GPX data and transfers it to a Macintosh for use with the Mac's GPX display software (locus.app). The route data can also be displayed. (This app cannot be used on devices that do not support HealthKit.) Workouts supported for GPX data retrieval are walking, cycling, running and hiking. On first startup, give GPXPicker permission to read “Workout”, “Workout Path” and “Heart Rate” data. If you did not give permission, please give GPXPicker permission to read “Workout”, “Workout Path” and “Heart Rate” data in “Settings”, “Privacy”, “Health Care”. To refresh the workout list, pull down the list.

Plan running and walking routes the simple way. RunMap2GPX lets you draw a route on Apple Maps by tapping waypoints. Each segment snaps to real roads, paths, and sidewalks automatically. You see the total distance update in real time as you build your route, so it's easy to plan a 5K, 10K, or any distance you want. When you're happy with your route, export it as a standard GPX file and send it to any sports tracker — WorkOutdoors, Strava, Komoot, Garmin Connect, or any app that supports GPX import. Use AirDrop to send it straight to your Apple Watch. WHY RUNMAP2GPX? • No account needed — just open and start tapping • No subscription — completely free, no ads, no in-app purchases • No data collected — your location is never stored or shared • One screen, zero clutter — the map is the entire app FEATURES • Tap waypoints on Apple Maps to build your route • Automatic road-snapping follows real streets and paths • Live distance display updates as you add and adjust points • Drag waypoints to fine-tune your route • Close the loop — tap the start point to route back home • Search any location to quickly find your starting area • Switch between standard, satellite, and hybrid map views • Export GPX 1.1 files via share sheet (AirDrop, Files, email, or open directly in your tracker app) • Name your route before exporting • Undo and redo your last waypoints • Works in metric or imperial — follows your device locale PERFECT FOR • Runners planning training routes of a specific distance • Walkers exploring new neighbourhoods • Hikers scouting trails on satellite view • Anyone who uses GPX files with sport tracker apps COMPATIBLE WITH WorkOutdoors, Strava, Komoot, Garmin Connect, Ride with GPS, and any app that imports GPX files.
