Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Cipchat at 4.8 against Conewim's 3.7. Cipchat also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ratings volume (61 vs 3). Conewim's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 20%) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Conewim sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Cipchat asks for nothing beyond the download.
Cipchat holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cipchat has 61 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of Cipchat's written reviews are positive against 50% of Conewim's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Cipchat ships an update every 2 months, Conewim monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
