To be remade, we must first come apart. Explore a dreamlike mansion, photograph mysterious spaces, confront your deepest secrets and confess them online as Carmen, junior architect and new hire at an elusive firm. In this near-future social media world, you’re charged with photographing the inside of an opulent building — but beware: the house is getting to know you too, perhaps better than you know yourself. You’ll explore lush environments with your phone’s camera in 360° as you search for hidden objects, solve puzzles, and get to know the characters within Carmen’s world. "A mixed reality brain melter." - The Verge "One of the most opulent settings in video game history." - PocketGamer "A glorious blend of surreal imagery." - HappyGamer "A dark and dazzling critique of social media" - Eurogamer "Different, raw, and real." - Hey Poor Player

Verdict
The clearest difference is price: Methods at $2.99 against HoloVista's $9.99. Methods also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 77%). HoloVista's advantage is ratings volume (261 vs 9) and update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). On rating, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

HoloVista costs $9.99 and Methods $2.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
HoloVista holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HoloVista has 261 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 77% of HoloVista's written reviews are positive against 100% of Methods's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
HoloVista ships an update every 5 days, Methods fortnightly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
