Icing on the Cake holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Icing on the Cake has 217K ratings behind it against 232, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of Icing on the Cake's written reviews are positive against 48% of Nailed It! Baking Bash's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Icing on the Cake ships an update every 2 months, Nailed It! Baking Bash every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
