THE AUDIO-PLAYER WILL: • Auto-save your current position in the book – so that you can pick up right where you left off. • Allow for skip forward/backward to recap, where relevant • Offer sleep timer option • Play on lock-screen, enabling easy access to playback controls • Play in background whilst browsing other apps • Play immediately, and download in the background (provided internet access is available) THE EREADER ALLOWS FOR: • Page book-marking, opening the title at the right place when you pick up. • Font-size changes, as well as dyslexic-friendly font • Background colour changes • Full text search You can also browse a wide range of titles covering all genres within the ‘DISCOVER’ area of the app – including all other available digital titles from the retailer/publisher you just purchased from or have been given by your school/college. Subscriptions You can now subscribe directly in the app, with three plans to suit how you study: monthly, 3-monthly, or 6-monthly. A subscription unlocks full access to both the app and the website. Manage or cancel your subscription any time from your Profile, and use Restore Purchase to get back in on a new device. A better purchase experience We’ve redesigned the sign-up and payment flow to make subscribing clearer and quicker. Insights Browse scrollable Insight articles featuring text, images, embedded videos, and links to relevant areas of the app. Support hub A new Support section (accessible from the bottom bar) lets you search and browse help articles by category — including past Insights, so nothing useful ever disappears. Request a feature Tell us what you’d like to see next. You can now submit feature requests straight from your account. Podcasts with video Podcast episodes can now include embedded video where available. Push notifications Opt in to notifications to stay informed about app updates and news (with separate consent for promotional messages).
