Worrydolls gives you a small doll who is ready to listen to what is worrying you. Tell your worry to the doll, then track it over time. You can use Worrydolls like a journal to help you overcome anxiety and stress. The idea of worrydolls started with the indigenous people of Guatemala. The first worrydoll was given to the princess Ixucane as a special gift from the sun god, with the promise that the worrydoll could handle any worry a person could have. Ever since, tiny worrydolls made leftover cloth have been given to worried people. Whisper a single worry to the worrydoll, and hide it under their pillow. As soon as the worrydoll is told the worry, sorrow, or fear, it takes the burden and carries it from then on. The app works the same way! Just tell a single worry to the Worrydoll, and the Worrydoll will carry it for you. In this way, you can have worrydolls on your phone. When your worry is finished, you can tell the worrydoll that he/she does not need to worry anymore. You can always look back at your old worries to feel a sense of calm. My grandmother gave me tiny worrydolls because I was always worrying as a child. Now, you can have Worrydolls on your phone. I hope that the worrydolls can help you just like they helped me. Tired, but your thoughts are still wide awake? Make room for a quieter bedtime with rhythm audio, nature sounds, and a simple sleep diary. GoodSleep, known in the app as SleepCore, brings together bedtime sounds, daily records, and wake-up reminders. RHYTHM AUDIO FOR YOUR EVENING Choose monaural or binaural beats. Monaural audio can play through your phone speaker; binaural beats require stereo headphones. Enjoy gentle fade-ins, gradual changes in rhythm and volume in automatic mode, and a timer to stop playback. “Brainwave” describes the frequency ranges that inform the audio design. The app does not read or measure your brain activity. MAKE YOUR OWN SOUNDSCAPE Mix rain, ocean waves, wind, a campfire, and other nature sounds. Adjust each sound's volume to create a background you enjoy for winding down or resting. KEEP A RECORD OF YOUR NIGHTS Log your mood, activities, and physical state before bed, then record how you feel after waking. Turn your nightly entries into a sleep constellation and look back on your routine over time. UNDERSTAND YOUR SLEEP DEBT View estimates and trends for accumulated sleep shortfall. With your permission, SleepCore reads sleep records created by Apple Watch through Apple Health. Without Watch data, relevant estimates use your app records and configured schedule. Sleep stages come from Apple Watch; SleepCore does not independently detect them. SET YOUR EVENING AND MORNING Set bedtime reminders and wake-up alarms. Alarm features require the relevant system permission. ASK ABOUT SLEEP The AI sleep chat offers general information about sleep and daily routines. It requires an internet connection and does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment. SLEEPCORE PLUS The app is free to download. The full rhythm-audio bedtime flow, AI chat, and advanced sleep-debt content require a SleepCore Plus subscription. Nature-sound mixing offers a limited number of free uses; continued use requires Plus. Prices, subscription periods, and trial eligibility are shown on the purchase screen. SleepCore is for relaxation, logging, and general sleep-management information. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose or treat insomnia or guarantee sleep onset or deep-sleep duration. Audio experiences vary from person to person. Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Worrydolls at 4.8 against GoodSleep's 4.0. Worrydolls also leads on ratings volume (15K vs 2) and iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). GoodSleep's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Worrydolls sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and GoodSleep sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Worrydolls holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Worrydolls has 15K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 89% of Worrydolls's written reviews are positive against 94% of GoodSleep's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Worrydolls ships an update every 3 weeks, GoodSleep every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
