Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: CritterCoin at 4.0 against WVSS's 2.0. WVSS's advantage is review sentiment (46% vs 31%) and ratings volume (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
CritterCoin holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 2.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 1 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 46% of WVSS's written reviews are positive against 31% of CritterCoin's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
