Both are free to download. Dromote sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Remote Control for Ro sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Dromote holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Remote Control for Ro has 152 ratings behind it against 26, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 3% of Dromote's written reviews are positive against 37% of Remote Control for Ro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Dromote ships an update every 5 months, Remote Control for Ro every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
